When Margot Robbie opted for a Christopher Esber moment<\/a> to mark her arrival in Australia, the fashion world went wild. Not only was the actress about to walk the red carpet in her home country for the premiere of her new movie Babylon<\/em>, but she was marking her return by confirming that she very much still loves, follows and reps Australian fashion.<\/p>\n

Later that night, Robbie changed into a glamorous ice-blue silk Versace gown<\/a> in ode to her character in the film, a roaring \u201920s starlet. The look, which lent into fashion’s current boudoir trend with red lace embellishments and a corset body, was a nod to iconic supermodel Carla Bruni’s 1997 Met Gala outfit.<\/p>\n

With an already iconic two ‘fits in one day to feast over, many missed that following the premiere, the Oscar-nominee popped home for her third wardrobe change before heading out to the afterparty in Sydney with family and friends.<\/p>\n

Choosing to hero another of her favorite Australian designers, Robbie swapped Versace for a white Michael Lo Sordo wrap maxi shirt dress. Featuring long sleeves, a plunging neckline and a tie to cinch the waist, the relaxed fit of the piece oozes low-key elegance.<\/p>\n

This, of course, marks the second time Robbie has worn Michael Lo Sordo during her Sydney film premieres.<\/p>\n

When she last walked an Australian red carpet for the premiere of I, Tonya<\/em> in 2018, Robbie opted for a similarly chic white silk dress by the designer, who is celebrating 10 years this year.<\/p>\n
