Tennis champion Naomi Osaka shocked the world when she withdrew from the 2023 Australian Open a week before the event was due to begin.\u00a0<\/span>At the time, Osaka didn\u2019t provide a reason for her sudden absence, prompting speculation about what caused such a sudden change. However, the 25-year-old is now ready to share what prompted her decision on her own terms, and it\u2019s a good one: she\u2019s about to become a mother.<\/p>\n

On Instagram, the 25-year-old shared a photo announcing she’s pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, rapper Cordae. Sharing a photo of a screen showing an ultrasound scan to her millions of followers on Instagram and Twitter, Osaka wrote, “Can\u2019t wait to get back on the court but here\u2019s a little life update for 2023.”<\/p>\n
