The star has been scooping up awards like nobody\u2019s business for her inimitable and hysterical portrayal of Tanya McQuoid in Mike White\u2019s hit series <em>The White Lotus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday evening, Coolidge took home the Critics Choice Award for best supporting actress in a drama series, after winning the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/jennifer-coolidge-wins-2023-golden-globes\/\">Golden Globe<\/a> last Tuesday for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in a limited series, anthology series, or motion picture made for television for season 2 of the HBO show. In September, Coolidge snagged the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/jennifer-coolidge-wins-2022-emmy-awards\/\">Emmy Award<\/a> for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie for season 1. (Photo by Frazer Harrison\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;I just want to say to all the people out there, for anyone that&#8217;s sort of given up hope, I hope this gives you inspiration,&#8221; Coolidge said at the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/best-dressed-2023-critics-choice-awards\/\">2023 Critics Choice Awards<\/a>. &#8220;It&#8217;s not over until it&#8217;s over. It&#8217;s not over &#8217;til you&#8217;re dead! Thank you so much.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with this sentiment, Coolidge previously thanked the people who \u201ckept me going\u201d throughout her years in the industry with \u201cthese little jobs\u201d at the 2023 Golden Globes, from Ryan Murphy and <em>Sex and the City<\/em>\u2019s Michael Patrick King to Reese Witherspoon, Paul and Chris Weitz for <em>American Pie<\/em>, and of course, Mike White.<\/p>\n<p>Coolidge explained that she\u2019d become disenchanted with the entertainment industry throughout the years. \u201cTruly, I just want you all to know that I had such big dreams and expectations as a younger person but what happened was, they get sort of fizzled by life,\u201d she said. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/the-white-lotus-creator-mike-white-season-2-finale\/\">Mike White<\/a>, you\u2019ve given me hope. The acclaimed actress went on to steal the show with parts in <em>Frasier<\/em>, <em>Friends<\/em>, <em>Nip\/Tuck<\/em>, <em>Sex and the City<\/em>, <em>King of the Hill<\/em>, <em>Glee,<\/em>\u00a0<em>2 Broke Girls <\/em>to name a few TV series. At the 2023 Golden Globes, Coolidge credited director Paul Weitz and producer Chris Weitz for their support throughout her career. \u201cThe Weitz brothers kept me going with like five\u2014cause some of these things would go like five different episodes or you know, five different sequels of <em>American Pie<\/em>,\u201d she said. \u201cI milked that to the bone. (&#8220;We could not talk, or talk forever.&#8221;) Coolidge starred alongside Jane Lynch, Catherine O&#8217;Hara, and her <em>American Pie<\/em> costar Eugene Levy in the cult-beloved comedy. In 2021, Levy told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/article\/jennifer-coolidge-profile.html\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Vulture<\/em><\/a>, &#8220;She is her own comedic universe in or out of character.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A known fan of Coolidge&#8217;s, pop star Ariana Grande even recreated scenes from the film in 2022 with Elizabeth Gillies, and shared footage on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CkRNrmSO6-K\/\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram<\/a> for Halloween.
