19-year-old Rebecca Perez, the Editor-in-Chief and founder of GOSS Magazine<\/a>, <\/strong>knew things had to change after being abandoned by the people who she looked up to the most. And as she stood clutching her 14-year-old sister\u2019s hand at the time, a conscious in her mind spoke out and said; purpose<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It whispered and said, \u2018when you work for your purpose, your purpose will begin<\/em> to work for you, and dreams and beautiful things will start to manifest.\u2019 And it did. Almost a decade later, these words are starting to manifest as her sisterhood community is turning heads.<\/p>\n

\u201cGrowing up without parental figures to guide me, I had to learn quickly how to adapt to my surroundings and pave my own<\/em> way,\u201d says Perez. \u201cOnce I learned what I knew thanks to my amazing mentors, I felt like it was my duty to pass down the torch so others can pave their way and hone into their personal power.\u201d<\/p>\n

You see, as long as we believe in the very gift that you have in the bottom of your stomach, that fire that burns, that<\/em> dream that wakes us up in the middle of the night\u2013 that is the thing that you should<\/em> chase every single day.<\/p>\n

And now, Perez aims to guide others on why<\/em> overcoming challenges is essential to step into greatness. Not only can facing challenges and navigating one’s way through them build resilience but knowing that one can overcome obstacles, learn from struggles and benefit from mistakes lays<\/em> a solid foundation for later life.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone’s going to experience some type of pain during their lifetime, but you can take that pain and turn it into something beautiful,\u201d says Perez. \u201cI turned my power into a business and fueled a fire to build an empire strong enough for communities, mentorship, and sisterhood to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today GOSS Magazine<\/a>, spearheaded by Rebecca Perez, is building an incubation platform for female entrepreneurs geared toward helping women start and develop their businesses, feel empowered, and, most importantly, connect in unison.<\/p>\n

And with the launch of her new online magazine, Perez and her team made it their mission to help women connect through a global community of strong women who will help one another succeed and mentor girls ascending the ladder into adulthood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI realized that I was also not the only one who had to face a painful heartbreak growing up,\u201d explains Perez. \u201cAs a matter of fact, the biggest and most admired leaders of our world had no financial or emotional support to achieve their dreams, yet are the ones who came out strongest and with more tools to give back to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though Perez had to pave her own way after losing everything, she reclaimed what mattered most through purpose, passion, and a burning desire.<\/p>\n
