This year, we were shocked to hear that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson had split<\/a> after a whirlwind nine-month relationship. At the time the news broke, a source for Entertainment Tonight<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>cited that the famous couple struggled with their busy schedules and long distance, with Davidson filming in Australia.<\/p>\n

“Pete and Kim broke up. The distance has been hard and things were starting to fizzle out,” the source said. “Pete being away for so long was hard for them. Kim is doing well and she knows she has a lot going on. Pete has been super busy as well.”<\/p>\n

It was the relationship we would have never expected but in many ways it turned out to be one of our favorite celebrity couplings. While we hoped for a reconciliation, we’re taking a trip down memory lane at Kardashian’s dating history.<\/p>\n

Damon Thomas<\/span><\/p>\n

Long before Kardashian was a billionaire and a beauty mogul, she was caught up in a controversial relationship with music producer Damon Thomas. At just 19 she eloped and married the man – allegedly high on ecstasy<\/a> – before they split in 2003 and finalised the divorce in 2004.<\/p>\n

Ray J<\/span><\/p>\n

There are not many relationships more infamous than the reality star’s romance with Ray J. The couple began dating during her divorce from Thomas in 2003 during which time they made a sex tape. It was eventually leaked in 2007 and catapulted Kardashian to stardom. J recalled moments of the relationship in his book\u00a0Death of a Cheating Man: What Every Woman Must Know About Men Who Stray.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cTo be honest, the whole thing started off wrong. We\u2019d known each other for a while before we dated and there was a mutual attraction, but she was married \u2026 She let me know she wanted to get with me. She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex and things between us got intense really fast. After that, I felt obligated to be with her,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

Nick Cannon<\/span><\/p>\n

After a single date night with Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband Nick Lachey, Kardashian briefly dated Nick Cannon in 2006. In a 2012 interview with Howard Stern, the actor said they split due to Kardashian lying about her sex tape with Ray J.<\/p>\n

Reggie Bush<\/span><\/p>\n

Kardashian dated NFL star Reggie Bush on and off between 2007 and 2010.<\/p>\n

Miles Austin<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometime around July 2010, Kardashian struck a romance with former NFL athlete Miles Austin. “They are dating, but she doesn’t want to rush anything,” a source told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> at the time. It turned out to be just another summer fling and by September that year, they had split.<\/p>\n

Gabriel Aubrey<\/span><\/p>\n

Soon after she called things off with Austin – and after brief rumoured relationships with Michael Copon and John Mayer – Kardashian dated Halle Berry’s ex Gabriel Aubrey in November 2010. They split just a few weeks later, reportedly due to Berry’s involvement.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kris Humphries<\/span><\/p>\n

This is another of Kardashian’s infamous relationships. By December 2010 (yes, she had a big year) Kardashian was dating for NBA player Kris Humphries. He proposed to the reality star on an episode of\u00a0Keeping Up with the Kardashians\u00a0<\/em>after just six months of dating before they wed in August 2011. She infamously filed for divorce 72 days later.<\/p>\n

Kanye West<\/span><\/p>\n

Then of course there was Kanye West. The couple took their relationship public in October 2012 – just over a year since she divorced Humphries – but according to a later report<\/a>, the pair had been having “sleepovers” long before we knew anything. The following December they announced they were expecting their first child before welcoming North West in June 2013. They wed in May 2014.<\/p>\n

They welcomed three more children, son Saint in 2015, daughter Chicago in 2018 and son Pslam in 2019.<\/p>\n

After several public outbursts<\/a>, cheating rumors and a “difference of opinion,\u201d <\/a>the KKW founder filed for divorce<\/a> from the rapper and designer in February 2021.<\/p>\n

Pete Davidson<\/span><\/p>\n

After meeting on the set of\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0<\/em>last September (where they shared a kiss for live television), Pete Davidson and Kardashian sparked romance rumors just a few weeks later at Knott\u2019s Berry Farm in California. The rumored couple were spotted on several date nights<\/a> together but it wasn’t clear whether or not they were just friends.<\/p>\n

In November last year a source close to Kardashian confirmed the couple were “casually dating.\u201d Nearly nine months and a few tattoos later<\/a>, the couple split<\/a> in August
