Legendary designer Vivienne Westwood has died, her brand confirmed in a statement.<\/p>\n

According to her namesake label, the groundbreaking punk designer, 81, died peacefully surrounded by family on Dec. 29 in Clapham, South London.<\/p>\n

\u201cVivienne<\/a> continued to do the things she loved, up until the last moment, designing, working on her art, writing her book, and changing the world for the better,\u201d her brand wrote in a statement. \u201cShe led an amazing life. Her innovation and impact over the last 60 years has been immense and will continue into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n
