The rooms and suites within the nine-floor property were designed by Bryan O\u2019Sullivan Studio and evoke the bright, sunny L.A. vibe with its soft pastel hues. There are sun-filled balconies that overlook the Beverly Ca\u00f1on Gardens, curated libraries in the suites and bespoke furniture with soft curves and d\u00e9cor featuring marble accents.<\/p>\n

In a nod to the hotel brand’s new West Coast roots, works by California artists such as Kort Havens, Jennifer Guidi, Ed Ruscha, Mary Weatherford are all on display (as well as a few pieces from the international set by Damien Hirst, Petra R\u00f6s-Nickel, Nelson Makamo, Brian Clarke and more).<\/p>\n

Another spot that was inspired by the California scene is the menu at the all-day restaurant, The Terrace<\/a>, which overlooks the Beverly Ca\u00f1on Gardens and has an indoor-outdoor atmosphere with its floor to ceiling windows. The menu features fruits and veggies fresh from the farmers market and dishes with a Mediterranean spin, including delicious fish entr\u00e9es and homemade pastas. There’s also the Maybourne Caf\u00e9<\/a> which is the go-to spot for pastries, a\u00e7ai bowls, breakfast burritos, coffees, juices and teas with an extra focus on items made from the L.A. area.<\/p>\n

For a drink, the new Maybourne Bar<\/a> by Head Mixologist Chris Amirault has classic cocktails, wines, and delicious bar snacks. Its signature drinks were inspired by the Five Elements Theory used by ancient civilizations: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space. The atmosphere, by interior designer Andr\u00e9 Fu, started from the idea of creating a “hidden jewel” on the property and that came across through solid Turkish silver onyx surrounded by high bar stools in Yves Klein blue and photography by Mary McCartney.<\/p>\n

Save plenty of time to soak in the many amenities of The Spa<\/a>, which offers a combination of facials, massages and body treatments. The massages combine breath work with sound bowls, hot stones, stretching and customized pressure and bespoke essential oils and fragrances. The spa uses products from EviDenS de Beaut\u00e9, and it’s the only U.S. location to use the French Japanese cosmetic brand and ila. To keep up your wellness, there you will find PENT luxury fitness equipment, Hydrow rowing machines, Woodway treadmills and Wattbikes on the property as well.<\/p>\n
