Olivia Wilde is back on Instagram, back from a girl’s vacation<\/a> and at the People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Tuesday evening. The actress and filmmaker took a hiatus from the limelight last month, understandably, after she and Harry Styles split<\/a>. Now her return to the spotlight has been accompanied by a stunning appearance in Dior. It begs the question: is this Wilde’s revenge dress?<\/p>\n

Wilde looked stunning in a sheer lace gown from the Dior Resort 2023 collection and styled by Karla Welch as seen on the runway with a large leather belt and cheeky panties. The star’s look was finished with undone waves, a flawless base and bold black eyeliner.<\/p>\n

The revenge dress was famously coined when Princess Diana<\/a> stepped out at an official event in a risqu\u00e9 off-the-shoulder gown following reports Prince Charles had an affair. While we’ve seen many iterations of the revenge dress of late \u2014 Julia Fox walked the runway in LaQuan Smith<\/a> following her split from Kanye West earlier this year \u2014 we can’t help but imagine that Wilde arrived at the awards ceremony to turn heads.<\/p>\n

Revenge is probably a strong word however, given reports that Wilde and Style split amicably and simply referred it as a “break.” No revenge needed, let’s call it a thirst trap. Has anyone checked on Harry?<\/p>\n

Wilde won the award for Best Drama Movie for\u00a0Don’t Worry Darling.\u00a0<\/em>If you haven’t seen it already, you absolutely should. Despite recent successes the film was the centre of plenty of controversy<\/a> prior to its release.
