The debut teaser trailer for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s highly anticipated Netflix docuseries<\/a> has finally arrived.<\/p>\n

After conflicting reports<\/a> as to whether the series would actually air amid Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s death and edits the royals wanted to make to the series, the docuseries will, in fact, be \u201cComing soon, only on Netflix,” the trailer announced.<\/p>\n

The Liz Garbus-directed project will provide never-before-seen insight at the couple\u2019s personal life, including one-on-one interviews with Harry and Meghan. In the teaser, there was a compilation of intimate black-and-white snapshots that showed the highs and lows of the royal couple\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

There were so many quick shots within the compilation, that we’re breaking down some of the can’t-miss moments, including Harry serenading Meghan on guitar, the couple kissing in a kitchen, Meghan posing with a bourgeoning baby bump, and the pair joyously dancing at their wedding reception.<\/p>\n

There are also more personal moments, including the Duchess breaking down in tears in multiple shots.\u00a0 In the trailer Garbus asked, \u201cWhy did you want to make this documentary?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one sees what\u2019s happening behind closed doors,\u201d said Prince Harry. \u201cI had to do everything I could to protect my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markle responded with the question, \u201cWhen the stakes are this high, doesn\u2019t it make more sense to hear our story from us?\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Netflix<\/em><\/a>, the six-part documentary series, \u201cexplores the span of their relationship, from the early days of the couple\u2019s courtship to the challenges and controversies that prompted them to step back from the royal family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry & Meghan<\/em> will include interviews with not only the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but friends and family who have never previously spoken about the couple publicly. Historians and journalists will also be featured, providing insight as to how the media painted and influenced the pair\u2019s relationship with the rest of the British royal family and the Commonwealth at large.<\/p>\n

Speaking with\u00a0The Cut<\/em><\/a>\u00a0this summer, Markle confirmed the story will follow, \u201cthe piece of my life I haven\u2019t been able to share, that people haven\u2019t been able to see \u2013 our love story.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sussexes reportedly\u00a0replaced<\/a>\u00a0the original director, Garrett Bradley over creative differences, and signed on Academy Award-nominated documentary filmmaker Garbus, known for\u00a0Love, Marilyn\u00a0<\/em>(2012) and\u00a0What Happened, Miss Simone?\u00a0(2015).<\/em><\/p>\n

Markle told Variety<\/em><\/a> in October, \u201cIt\u2019s nice to be able to trust someone with our story \u2013 a seasoned director whose work I\u2019ve long admired \u2013 even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it.\u201d She continued, \u201cBut that\u2019s not why we\u2019re telling it. We\u2019re trusting out story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens.\u201d<\/p>\n
