For the latest episode of the High Low with EmRata<\/em><\/a>, Emily Ratajkowski<\/a> called up model Mia Khalifa for a visit. The two dove into the subject of weight loss, and discussed how mental health can affect weight fluctuation. The best-selling author opened up about a recent weight loss, describing the ordeal as \u201creally, really scary.\u201d<\/p>\n

Khalifa shared her own struggles with her body, and explained that she often feels at her \u201cheaviest\u201d during a depressive state. \u201cEvery day is an uphill battle,\u201d she said. \u201cI fluctuate like 40 pounds a year. It really depends on my schedule, what I\u2019m doing, if I\u2019m depressed\u2026I really give myself a lot of slack and I don\u2019t beat myself up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ratajkowski, on the other hand, said that when she finds herself emotionally low, she has a tendency to lose weight. “I think trauma lives in the body, that\u2019s been my experience,” said Ratajkowski. “I actually go the other way. When I\u2019m really unwell, I lose so much weight. I was down to 100 pounds recently and it was really, really scary.”<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd now,\u201d she added, \u201cI\u2019ve gained weight and for me, it\u2019s a huge game changer, and it\u2019s how I know I\u2019m happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

In September, the model, actress and My Body<\/em> author filed for divorce<\/a> from her husband of three years, Uncut Gems<\/em> producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. In conjunction with news of the breakup, rumors of Bear-McClard\u2019s \u201cserial\u201d cheating began to swirl.<\/p>\n

The pair tied the knot at a New York City courthouse in February 2018 and share a 1-year-old son Sylvester, whom they welcomed in March 2021.<\/p>\n

Shortly after news of their split,\u00a0Bear-McClard left his own production company<\/a>\u00a0Elara Pictures after co-founding the company in 2014 alongside\u00a0Uncut Gems<\/em>\u00a0directors Josh and Benny Safdie, and producer Oscar Boyson.<\/p>\n

Ratajowski has now been linked to former Saturday Night Live<\/em> comedian Pete Davidson<\/a>. After weeks of romance rumors, the famous duo attended a New York Knicks game<\/a> at Madison Square Garden on Sunday in their first public outing as a
