Though Valentina Ferrer<\/strong> has many jobs: model, wellness entrepreneur<\/a> and new mom to son R\u00edo<\/strong>, whom she shares with reggaton superstar J Balvin<\/strong>, the star is now adding Co-Owner and CEO of KAPOWDER\u00ae<\/a> to her resume.<\/p>\n

Ferrer, 29, wanted to start the women-owned sustainable health and wellness company, which features a range of supplements to support gut health<\/a>,\u00a0immunity<\/a>,\u00a0energy<\/a>, and\u00a0skin<\/a>, made with 100 percent natural ingredients and 100 percent recyclable and reusable packaging, since she wants people to feel confident on the inside \u2014 and outside.<\/p>\n

“I want to show people there’s a balance since I love food. My business partner, Sara Davey<\/strong>, is from Australia. When we met, we bonded since we’re both vegan. We talked about how it was hard to find good food when traveling. Sara had the idea at first. We then started and immediately began growing, as people really accepted it and liked the product<\/a>. It’s something that makes people feel really good,” Ferrer exclusively tells GRAZIA USA<\/em> of her endeavor. “It tastes great!”<\/p>\n

After Ferrer told her mother about diving into the venture<\/a>, she was told it wouldn’t be a walk in the park. “I was always working, and now she’s like, ‘I can’t believe how fast your company has grown!’ This is really a dream come true for me,” she gushes. “My dream was to have a company because I love to work. When I had my baby, I still wanted to work from home so I could spend time with him. On my birthday this past September, I felt really good. I have all the things I’ve always wanted \u2014 I have a beautiful family, I am still modeling, but I am also in charge of this company while spending time with my baby at home.”<\/p>\n

From a young age, Ferrer was passionate about nutrition, which is why she decided to take a leap of faith and start the company. “I love to cook and learn! When I see girls suffering, I feel so bad \u2014that’s why I want to help,” she says.<\/p>\n

With her company, the Argentina native hopes to show others \u2014 especially women<\/a> \u2014 that you can do anything you put your mind to. “My mom is a teacher and she never had help. She showed me that I can do it. It’s not easy, but if you know what to do, you can do it. I always say don’t be afraid. When people are afraid, they don’t do anything and nothing happens,” she shares. “I always say it’s like a game \u2014 you can win or lose, but just try it and enjoy the process.”<\/p>\n

Due to Ferrer’s amazing work ethic, she was never afraid to take risks, even though she knew it might not have worked out. “I started working when I was 14 years old, and it made me stronger because I realized it’s not always easy,” she notes.<\/p>\n

When it comes to being the CEO, Ferrer has some advice for others wanting to start their own businesses<\/a>. “If you grow too fast and don’t check the details, that’s when it gets tough. Sometimes people want to control everything, but it’s important to learn from others. I always try to be around people so I am constantly learning \u2014 and learning from the mistakes of other people,” she advises.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Ferrer’s mission is simple: to make others feel like a million bucks. “It feels good because you can see them feel better,” she says. “I want people to understand how they can change their lifestyle for the better. People ask me about my pregnancy in my DMs, and I try to help out whenever I can \u2014 that makes me happy.”<\/p>\n

Despite having a busy schedule, Ferrer admits her life is far from perfect when it comes to balancing motherhood and KAPOWDER\u00ae<\/a>. “I always say organizing yourself is the only way you can make it to everything,” she states. “It’s not easy, and I don’t want to rush. I always want to spend time with my baby but not forget about the company at the same time.”<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the mom-of-one has a slew of goals<\/a> left to complete, including expanding KAPOWDER\u00ae<\/a> to other countries<\/a> such as Australia, Mexico, Hong Kong and more. “I want to do more campaigns and keep growing. I would love to keep modeling and maybe dabble in TV opportunities.”<\/p>\n

“I feel grateful,” she concludes. “KAPOWDER\u00ae<\/a> is accepted more and more and people care about it!”<\/div>\n
