Everyone knows the feeling of having nothing to wear to an important event, but for those who don’t fit into society’s strict standards when it comes to size, a universal lack of options (despite demand) makes this conundrum all the more difficult.<\/p>\n

One person who’s never shied away from making a statement when it comes to fashion despite these barriers is Lizzo. A woman who has never met a red carpet she hasn’t owned. And now, the singer has gifted one of her most iconic red carpet gowns to help a fan feel her best.<\/p>\n

Last month, author Aurielle Marie posted a TikTok<\/a> explaining to her followers that she was in search of a gown that was \u201cbig bitch and red carpet-ready\u201d to wear to the Out<\/em> 100 Gala. As a self-proclaimed Lizzo stan, Marie then begged the singer to let her borrow her 2022 Emmy Awards look: a red tulle gown by Giambattista Valli that featured a long train and exaggerated sleeves.<\/p>\n
