On the latest episode of Hulu\u2019s\u00a0The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>, Kim Kardashian<\/a> traveled to Orlando, Florida to visit the Ripley\u2019s Believe It or Not <\/em><\/a>headquarters to try on Marilyn Monroe’s dress from 1962<\/a>, which she hopes to wear to the 2022 Met Gala. But one person that tagged along with her was her ex, Pete Davidson, who never ended up getting screen time in the episode.<\/p>\n

Pete Davidson<\/a> joined his then-girlfriend in Orlando days before the Met Ball, which they attended together. The comedian was shown in a clip that previously surfaced in May, but his presence wasn’t shown in the episode that aired on Nov. 9. There’s a brief glimpse of the former SNL<\/em> star in the background, but only from the shoulders, down, wearing a a red flannel, black pants, and white sneakers while women in white gloves are trying to help Kardashian shimmy into the historic dress.<\/p>\n

While fans were excited to see more of Kardashian<\/a>\u00a0and Davidson<\/a> together in the show\u2019s second season, the comedian will hardly be on the show after all, despite what the trailers had us believe.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the second season of the Hulu reality TV series, a trailer dropped in which Kardashian references Davidson twice: First, she cites her new relationship, saying, \u201cI have a new boyfriend, and I am just having a really good time.\u201d Then, Kardashian speaks directly to Davidson, inviting him to take a shower with her and calling him \u201cBabe.\u201d He responds by dropping everything he\u2019s doing and walking into the bathroom behind her as sister Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian looks shocked. Naturally, fans assumed Davidson would be featured more in the show this season than the last.<\/p>\n

But according to a source who spoke with\u00a0Page Six<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>in the upcoming season, Davidson is \u201cin the background,\u201d but he doesn\u2019t take more of a role as, \u201cthe reality world is not built for people like Pete.\u201d\u00a0The source described Davidson as \u201ca very private person\u201d and acknowledged that during their relationship, Kardashian \u201cwas always super respectful of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was not on the first season.
