Since giving birth to their first child in May<\/a>, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have kept a relatively low-key profile, opting to spend time with their newborn son outside of the spotlight \u2014 and keeping both his name and photos of him private in the process.<\/p>\n

But in the lead-up to Rihanna\u2019s return to work \u2014 she released her first song since 2016<\/a>, is dropping the fourth Savage x Fenty show on Amazon in two days, and is casually headlining the Superbowl next year<\/a> \u2014 the singer has been opening up (ever so slightly) about motherhood.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Washington Post<\/a>,<\/em> the 34-year-old said there\u2019s no hard and fast reason as to why she hasn\u2019t shared any details about her 5-month-old son yet. It more comes down to simply being busy.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just didn\u2019t get around to it yet, really,\u201d Rihanna said when asked about sharing her baby\u2019s name. \u201cWe\u2019ve just been living. But I guess there\u2019s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just like getting it out there,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Later, while speaking to E! News<\/a><\/em>, on the carpet for Savage x Fenty Volume Four, Rihanna added that she considered relaxing in leggings during her pregnancy \u201ca sport,\u201d but that she\u2019s now ready to hit the ground running. \u201cOnce you get to the other side, you\u2019re like, \u2018I gotta get back,’\u201d she explained. \u201cThere\u2019s something that just happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rihanna also added she\u2019s realized she\u2019s parenting \u2014 and becoming in general \u2014 exactly like her own mum, Monica Braithwaite.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is weird,\u201d she shared. \u201cEven the little things that annoy me about her, I do it. I literally make all of the same faces. I say the same things. I clear my throat the same way. I move my mouth the same way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI either never noticed it or it never happened until I had a baby,\u201d she said, adding that she\u2019s happy to follow in her mother\u2019s footsteps, especially because, \u201cShe more snatched than me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Savage x Fenty show is due for release on Nov. 9 with performances confirmed by Anitta, Maxwell, as well as a long list of appearances, including Taraji P. Henson, Cara Delevingne and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Last week, TMZ leaked that Johnny Depp was reported to also be making a cameo in the show, which (naturally) didn\u2019t go down too well online.
