Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci has resurrected his namesake label to dress Ghanaian-British screenwriter and actress Michaela Coel. On Thursday evening, the Emmy Award winner chose a custom-made creation from the designer for the the London premiere of the highly anticipated superhero flick Black Panther: Wakanda Forever<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The star slipped into a head-to-toe black bespoke ensemble, consisting of a matte stretch silk scoop neck bodysuit teamed with a tiered Chantillty lace sheer skirt with a thigh-high side slit, emblazoned with dainty floral and star embroidery.<\/p>\n

Coel wore a pair of bespoke black lace stockings and strappy black sandals from the designer. Styled by Georgia Medley, the I May Destroy You<\/em> star added an extra dose of glamour with an assortment of statement rings from Messika.<\/p>\n

According to WWD<\/em><\/a>, Tisci took notes from both Coel and her mother, who has created many dresses for her daughter over the years.<\/p>\n

Coel told the publication, “To become a part of this moment in which his [Tisci’s] career comes full circle is a nourishing experience,” She also recalled the former Burberry creative director’s “remarkable confidence and humility in his craft.”<\/p>\n

Tisci took to Instagram<\/a> to express his love for Coel. \u201cThe first time I met Michaela, I immediately understood that she represents and expresses everything a woman means to me \u2014 freedom, beauty, a sense of adventure,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
