Ariana Grande<\/a> has been preparing for the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked<\/em><\/a> and has a new bright blonde ponytail to prove it. She’s set to star as Glinda, the famous blonde Good Witch of the North, and Grande just shared a selfie showing that she ditched her signature brunette tresses in favor of lighter strands.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the Positions<\/em> artist posted a new photo with her 336 million Instagram followers, revealing her latest hair transformation. \u201cNew earrings,\u201d she captioned the selfie of her side profile, showing off some dainty gold and pearl baubles and her newly lightened locks. While much of her face is out of view, the singer\u2019s eyebrows seem to be tinted to match her new \u2018do.<\/p>\n

This is far from the first time Grande has forayed into the blonde color palette. Who could forget her platinum ponytail from the 2018 Sweetener<\/em> days?<\/p>\n
