For such women, negative reception from viewers online and those in their personal lives is an almost universal experience. Some of the various stigmas include labels of immorality and a lack of self-respect, the ever-present problem of sexual objectification, and views that dismiss OnlyFans modeling as easy, mindless work that is only lucrative in the short-term.

These are concerns that ‘Persian princess’ Jazmen Jafar is not afraid to tackle head-on.

As a licensed attorney from a conservative Iranian-American family, Jazmen’s story and her choice to commit full-time to OnlyFans reveal interesting insights on the platform. More importantly, Jazmen is very open with her story and encourages healthy discussion and debate with those who disagree with her.

“The decision to commit full-time to OnlyFans wasn’t quick or easy,” says Jazmen. “At the time, I had the choice between continuing my work in a firm that was perfect for me, slowly climbing the legal ladder; or going all-in with OnlyFans. I can either take the safe route and do what everybody else wants me to do, or I can just take a risk and live my life by my values and what is conducive to my happiness. Eventually, I decided to leave my law firm and commit to doing OnlyFans full time.”

Since making this decision, Jazmen’s income has doubled, and her OnlyFans account has grown among the top 0.1% on the platform.

While money was a significant factor in her initial decision to try OnlyFans, Jazmen says that the promise of freedom and opportunity is what led her to commit to OnlyFans fully.

“A lot of people think it is extremely dumb to decide to go from lawyer to online sex work, and at first, I thought the same,” says Jazmen.

However, she knew deep down that she hated working a traditional job and had no desire to climb the corporate ladder. The prestige and economic safety in it was not enough to make her happy or avoid the dread she felt waking up each day having to go to the office and meet her billable requirements. She soon realized that she was the only one who had to live out the life she created for herself. She decided she had to create a life she truly enjoyed living, despite anyone else’s objections.

“At first, when people would ask me what I do, I would say I’m a lawyer to avoid potential judgment,” says Jazmen. “But even though I was not lying, it never really sat well with me. Why do I care what they think? It also bothered me since I felt I reinforced a certain stigma by hiding my sex work in public. So many people believe women who turn to online sex work have no other skills or talents and that it is a last resort. I am an example of someone who chose it over a very well-respected and high-earning career. Now, I am super confident about it all. Yes, I’m a lawyer, but I’m also an OnlyFans Model. That’s all me.”

Despite her overall positive experience with OnlyFans, however, Jazmen has a lot of caveats when asked whether she would recommend trying the platform to interested young women.

“At the end of the day, OnlyFans is a business — it is NOT easy money,” she says. You do have to work, and you have to keep hustling. If you’re still at the stage in your life where other people’s opinions affect you, especially random people on the internet, then you’re probably not ready for this. You need to have tough skin, and you have to understand that you may be closing the door to other opportunities and be prepared for that. However, if you have thought it out and still want to move forward, do it! I am happy I did.”

"Only" OnlyFans?
