Each new single sees Grande embrace an entirely new aesthetic, creating a frenzy among fans as they eat up her every costume change and <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/ariana-grande-drops-boyfriend-song-and-music-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cinematic reference<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For her latest track <em>34+35<\/em>, the singer disregards the highly sexual lyrics altogether, instead playing the part of a mad scientist in an old-school lab who brings a sexy cyborg to life (also played by Grande).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_180813\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-180813\" style=\"width: 974px\" class=\"wp-caption alignfull -width\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignfull-width size-full wp-image-180813\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ariana.jpg\" alt=\"ariana grande fembot\" width=\"974\" height=\"548\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-180813\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: YouTube<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The clip, directed by Director X, sees Grande&#8217;s scientist struggle to mobilize her robot doppelg\u00e4nger before a lab mishap transforms the team into <em>Austin Powers<\/em>-esque Fembots.<\/p>\n<p>The looks are as detailed as we&#8217;ve come to expect from Grande, with her scientist get-up consisting of skyscraper <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/if-youre-lady-gaga-in-brandon-maxwell-couture-this-is-how-you-get-up-from-the-met-gala-floor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">platform heels<\/a>, a high-neck sweater and patent leather lab coat, and a sleek silver bustier and skirt with graphic eye jewels for her turn as the robot.
