Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a> confirmed on Tuesday that actor John Corbett is set to reprise his Sex and the City<\/em> role as Aidan Shaw in the upcoming second season of the HBO Max reprisal And Just Like That<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Could be, could be,” Parker told\u00a0Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> of Corbett’s potential return to the franchise. “Well, you know, I can’t be like, cryptic about it anymore.”<\/p>\n

Deadline<\/em><\/a> reported Corbett\u2019s return as Aidan<\/a> in August, noting that the actor was, \u201cset for a substantial, multi-episode arc.\u201d<\/p>\n

We already got our hopes<\/a> up ahead of season 1 that Corbett would return, when he told Page Six<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that he might be in\u00a0\u201cquite a few\u201d episodes<\/a>.\u00a0But after the season finale, fans noticed he was nowhere to be found<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Parker later cleared up the confusion when sitting down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live<\/em>.<\/a> \u201cWhen he actually reached out, very kindly, because he\u2019s nothing if not a gentleman, and apologized for doing that as a joke,\u201d said Parker. \u201cThen I was like, \u2018No, no, no, it\u2019s a free country first of all.\u2019 And I thought it was kind of delightful and kind of fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if it\u2019s possible he could return, she said: \u201cI think he would be \u2026 I mean, I\u2019m not going, yes, all of it\u2019s possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last week, Parker teased her script<\/a> during a table read, confirming that work on the series\u2019 second season is underway. \u201cJust this much. For now. X, SJ,\u201d Parker captioned her photo<\/a>\u00a0on Instagram of her script for episode 201 of\u00a0And Just Like That<\/em>\u00a0with the title crossed out.<\/p>\n
