And just like that\u2026season 2 of the Sex and the City<\/em><\/a> reboot is underway! Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a> and Sara Ram\u00edrez both teased their scripts during a table read and the show’s costume designers shared a small glimpse into the new season.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust this much. For now. X, SJ,\u201d Parker captioned her photo<\/a> on Instagram of her script for episode 201 of And Just Like That<\/em> with the title crossed out. Ram\u00edrez, who portrays Miranda\u2019s comedian love interest Che, also shared a photo<\/a>, featuring a booklet of HBO Max\u2019s \u201cSocial Media Guidelines.\u201d<\/p>\n

Evan Handler, who portrays Charlotte\u2019s husband Harry, posted a pic<\/a> of his AJLT<\/em> name card for season 2 in a carousel featuring the entrance to Silvercup Studios in Queens where the gathering took place. \u201cIt\u2019s happeninggggg\u2026,\u201d he captioned the post.<\/p>\n

The actor also stopped by the wardrobe department<\/a>, lead by Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago, for a fitting. The duo shared a snap on\u00a0social media<\/a> of Handler suited up, captioning the post, \u201c@baggageehandler<\/a>\u00a0stepping into new shoes S2 EPS 1\u00a0@justlikethatmax<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\udece\ud83d\udece\ud83d\udc96\ud83d\udc96.\u201d<\/p>\n

Starring <\/span><\/em>Parker, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon as Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York Goldenblatt, and Miranda Hobbes respectively, the HBO Max original series also features Ram\u00edrez, Handler, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, and David Eigenberg.<\/span><\/p>\n

John Corbett<\/a>, who played Aiden in the original series, is set to join<\/a> the And Just Like That <\/i>cast for its second season as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0season finale<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0And Just Like That,<\/em> Carrie texted Samantha Jones, played by\u00a0Kim Cattrall<\/a>, asking to meet while she was in Paris spreading Mr. Big\u2019s ashes. Michael Patrick King, the showrunner of the HBO Max series, told\u00a0Variety<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that he and his writing team are planning to work Samantha into the storyline more, despite confirming\u00a0that Cattrall herself will not return to the show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So when will the series finally come back to screens? Showrunner Michael Patrick King told\u00a0Variety<\/em><\/a>\u00a0that production will begin in October 2022, so the new season may be ready to stream by summer 2023. Stay tuned for more updates!<\/p>\n
