Bella Hadid<\/a> is the queen of street style<\/a>. She goes sans stylist<\/a>, (yep she dresses herself) and she has all of us fashion girls in a chokehold with her looks, which range from emerging designers to great vintage pieces. As a true Bella Hadid style stan, I have to admit that recently, someone else has caught my eye in regards to their looks. Who is that person you ask? It’s Bella’s boyfriend, Marc Kalman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His sartorial choices are every fashion girl’s dream, and if you haven’t noticed yet, it’s time to start paying attention. The art director is a pretty private guy \u2014 his Instagram isn’t public and there’s very little trace of him online (another reason why he’s our current dream guy, girls \u2014 minimal online presence!). After a little digging, he appears to work in the fashion and art space. According to 1985<\/a>, he designed album artwork for branding for Travis Scott and Seventeen<\/em><\/a> reported that other clients that he’s worked with include Smoke x Mirrors, Milk Studios MADE Fashion Week and KNG Records.<\/p>\n

With a stacked r\u00e9sum\u00e9 in fashion and art, it’s no surprise that this guy has it<\/em>. As far as fashion power couples go, currently, Hadid and Kalman are my Kimye (from their heyday of course) and it’s because they both have such a strong sense of personal\u00a0<\/em>style. Bella is known for her funky fashion risks and everything she puts on feels authentically her. The same can be said for Kalman. His laidback look compliments Hadid’s adventurous style. But, it’s his cool factor that really solidifies these two as a fashion couple to watch.<\/p>\n

The art director has an affinity for ’90s-inspired oversized silhouettes from baggy jeans, low-slung shorts, and grungy Dr. Martens oxford shoes. He also has a thing for Y2K mainstays such as ribbed tank tops. In fact, Kalman’s love for tank tops with baggy bottoms is reminiscent of David Beckham from the late ’90s early 2000s.<\/p>\n

The reason Hadid has so many of us fashion gals taking notice of her looks is her ability to mix high and low, which allows her devoted fans (such as myself) to recreate her outfits. The same can be said about Kalman. With a fashion background and a supermodel girlfriend it’s no surprise that Kalman has such a great sense of style.<\/p>\n

As a couple, these two do a great job at wearing looks that just go<\/em> with each other without feeling too matchy-matchy. He’s not stealing the show, he’s enhancing it. If you want your man to start dressing like him…I’ll show you exactly how \u2014 but be warned, cool factor, swag, overall It guy energy are not included, unfortunately.<\/p>\n

Kalman has been seen sporting plaid shorts in two different colorways. Upon further research, I discovered that they appear to be Vintage Levi’s SilverTab. Brief history lesson: the Silver Tab was introduced in 1988 and defined ’90s grunge denim with its baggy styles. So based on Kalman’s affinity for ’90s-inspired grunge this all tracks. Unfortunately, SilverTab pieces are very rare and incredibly hard to find. So all I have to offer are these vintage plaid Levi’s. If you want the real deal, I wish you the best of luck on your search.<\/p>\n
