Meghan Markle<\/a> has halted the release of new episodes of her Spotify podcast Archetypes<\/em><\/a>, out of respect for the death of Queen Elizabeth II<\/a>. New conversations have dropped every Tuesday since the podcast debuted on August 23.<\/p>\n

A notice<\/a> on the Spotify Original\u2019s channel reads, \u201cNew episodes of Archetypes will be paused during the official mourning period for Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II.\u201d<\/p>\n

King Charles III<\/a> announced the official period of royal mourning will last until seven days after the Queen\u2019s state funeral, slated for September 19<\/a>. According to the\u00a0Telegraph<\/a><\/em>, the series will be put on pause for up to six weeks as a sign of respect. Duchess Meghan has joined her husband Prince Harry in the UK<\/a> following the death of his grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen.<\/p>\n

Described as \u201ca refreshing and dynamic new podcast where Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex dives into the labels that try to hold women back,\u201d Archetypes<\/em><\/a>\u2019 debut episode featured a discussion about ambition with Markle\u2019s close friend Serena Williams<\/a>. Since its August 23 launch, the podcast has featured conversations with Mariah Carey<\/a> and Mindy Kaling.<\/p>\n

At the tail end of her last episode, Markle teased the topic of the next one. While we may be waiting longer than we may have hoped, the next episode is slated to unpack \u201cthe complicated world of the trope known as the \u2018Dragon Lady\u2019\u201d with comedian Margaret Cho and journalist Lisa Ling.
