Every time Serena Williams<\/a> steps on the court, she’s one to watch for her dominance and her statement-making style. Most\u00a0recently, she took catsuits<\/a> and tutu skirts for a spin, so naturally, when the “greatest of all time” made her way to USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY, on Monday night at the U.S. Open (her last tournament as a professional tennis player) all eyes were waiting to see how she performed and what she wore.<\/p>\n

Williams recently announced she’s “evolving away from tennis” in an interview with Vogue<\/em><\/a> to prioritize her fashion line, venture capitalism, and being a mother. On Monday, she dominated on the court with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Danka Kovinic. For the momentous moment, the 23-time Grand Slam champion stepped out in a sparkling black tennis dress with an embellished bodice that paid homage to her career.<\/span><\/p>\n
