Some of the most highly anticipated films of the year are premiering at the 2022 Venice Film Festival<\/a>, which means Hollywood\u2019s brightest stars are going to be making stylish apperances in the Italian city. Already trickling in, White Noise<\/em>\u2019s Jodie Turner-Smith<\/a> and The Listener<\/em>\u2019s Tessa Thompson<\/a> have both arrived in Venice, alongside models Alessandra Ambrosio<\/a>, Grace Elizabeth, Barbara Palvin and her longtime partner Dylan Sprouse. Julianne Moore is also on-hand, and will be serving as president of this year’s jury. Among other duties, Moore will be responsible for awarding the festival’s most esteemed trophy, the Golden Lion Award for Best Film.<\/p>\n

The festival will take place from August 31 to September 10, and show a robust roster of award-worthy films. The psychological thriller\u00a0Don\u2019t Worry Darlin<\/em>g<\/a> will be premiering and we’re hoping Florence Pugh, Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine and Gemma Chan make appearances. We’ll keep a tentative eye out for Harry Styles, but since he’s currently doing a multi-show residency at Madison Square Garden, he may be staying in the Big Apple.<\/p>\n

Julia Roberts and George Clooney\u2019s\u00a0rom-com\u00a0Ticket to Paradise<\/em><\/a> is in the running for an Italian prize as well, along with Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino\u2019s Bones and All<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Other films (and stars) to keep an eye out for include the Marilyn Monroe biopic\u00a0Blonde<\/em><\/a> starring Ana de Armas, and Noah Baumbach’s\u00a0film White Noise<\/em> with Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig<\/a>, Andr\u00e9 3000, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Don Cheadle.<\/p>\n
