After racking up accolades at the\u00a02022 MTV VMAs<\/a>, Taylor Swift<\/a> used the moment to make a big announcement. On Sunday evening, the singer-songwriter scooped up three awards for her short film \u201cAll Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor\u2019s Version)<\/a>,\u201d including best longform video, best direction, and video of the year. <\/span><\/p>\n

After winning the video of the year award, Swift leveraged the platform to announce a new album, coming out October 21. Dubbed Midnights<\/i>, Swift’s upcoming 10th record will include 13 tracks. <\/span><\/p>\n

Setting multiple records, Swift became the only artist in VMA history to ever win three nods for video of the year, after snagging the Moonperson in 2015 with \u201cBad Blood,\u201d and in 2019 with \u201cYou Need to Calm Down.\u201d She also became the first artist to win for a video they directed themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n
