Stars always save their most head-turning styles for the coveted 2022 MTV VMAs<\/a> red carpet. This year, celebs went for darker hues in statement-making silhouettes. There were dramatic entrances (like Lizzo in an oversize Jean Paul Gaultier creation and Lil Nas X in Harris Reed), high-shine moments (thanks to Taylor Swift in her embellished Oscar de la Renta mini dress) and so many more must-see looks that we’re rounding up our favorites for you to check out, below.<\/p>\n

BLACKPINK members came in coordinating black looks, with Lisa sporting a crop top and pants with skirt attached to the back from CELINE by Hedi Slimane with Bulgari jewels. Jisoo went for a sheer embellished gown with Cartier jewels, while Jennie chose an abs-baring Chanel bra top and low-waisted skirt and Ros\u00e9 paired her long-sleeve Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello mini dress with Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger earrings and ring.<\/p>\n

The rapper had a high-fashion moment on the carpet in a creation from Harris Reed’s \u201c60 Years a Queen” collection<\/a> shown in February. The black feathered headpiece and hoop skirt resembled a gold version first worn by Iman at the 2021 Met Gala<\/a>. He teamed the look with De Beers Jewelry.<\/p>\n
