Pop icons Britney Spears<\/a> and Sir Elton John<\/a> have finally released their new duet \u201cHold Me Closer.\u201d The highly anticipated collaboration puts a new spin on John\u2019s legendary 1971 track \u201cTiny Dancer\u201d from his album Madman Across the Water<\/em> while also incorporating verses from John\u2019s 1992 song “The One.” The duo have been teasing the tune for weeks and fans have been eagerly awaiting its release.<\/p>\n

The new song dropped on streaming services at midnight on Friday. If you’ve been listening to\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> and Drake\u2019s new dance albums on repeat this summer, add “Tiny Dancer” to the mix. With a thumping bass and a heavy feel-good dance beat, Spears\u2019 recognizable idiosyncratic voice melds perfectly with John\u2019s.<\/p>\n
