I was someone who swore I would never wear Birkenstocks. Until now. A couple of months ago, I purchased a pair of “Boston” clogs and they have quickly become my most worn shoe. And to all those Birkenstock stans out there, I get it now<\/em>.<\/p>\n

So now that I’ve eaten my words let me tell you why this one-time “ugly” shoe is actually socially acceptable now. First, we have to thank the amazing collaborations<\/a> Birkenstock has done with Manolo Blahnik<\/a>, Rick Owens, and Dior<\/a> (just to name a few). More thanks goes to the street style stars and celebs alike who have been serving us some amazing outfit inspo. When styled correctly, Birkenstocks are actually super cool and can give any look this “effortless” feel. Below, I broke down three of my favorite Birkenstock looks and how to style them.<\/p>\n

Look 1<\/h3>\n

The oversized blazer, vest, and trouser combo is peak model off-duty. The Birkenstocks give this outfit that “effortlessly cool girl” look that we all want to achieve.<\/p>\n

This all black look is incredibly chic. Marte Mei van Haaster opted for a pair of black patent leather Birkenstocks which really take this look to the next level.<\/p>\n

Open-toe Birkenstock sandals are often seen as super casual. But the shoe is versatile and can be dressed up when paired with chic pieces such as relaxed trousers and a button-down. The sandals give the otherwise polished look a relaxed feel.<\/p>\n
