Sydney Sweeney<\/a> stepped out in style on Saturday night at the Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards. Celebrating the year\u2019s best television series, the ceremony honored HBO Max\u2019s The White Lotus<\/i><\/a> with the award for Best Broadcast Network or Cable Limited Series or Anthology Series. Sweeney accepted the award alongside The White Lotus<\/em> producer David Bernad and her character’s on-screen mom, co-star Connie Britton<\/a>. And as expected, the<\/span> two-time Emmy-nominated actress<\/a> came dressed to impress. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sweeney arrived on the red carpet in a forest green velvet vintage 1981 mini dress by Thierry Mugler<\/a>, featuring a sculpted, pointed bust, dramatic puff sleeves, a cinched belt at the waist, and a ruffled peplum. Styled by Molly Dickson<\/a>, the 41-year-old frock was sourced from New York Vintage. <\/span>The late designer was known for his surreal and avant-garde designs, and pieces from his archives have seen a resurgence with the likes of Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, and more sporting his work. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt last night\u2019s HCA Awards,\u201d Dickson wrote on Instagram. \u201cSyd really envisioned a vintage dress for this event and after lots of research we found this 1981 @muglerofficial<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0@newyorkvintageinc<\/a>\u00a0and then paired it w some\u00a0@jimmychoo<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\udc60 +\u00a0@debeersofficial<\/a>\u00a0\ud83d\udc8e.\u201d<\/p>\n

They chose a pointy-toe pair of Jimmy Choo pumps with metallic cap-toes, and De Beers jewels, including a tennis necklace, bracelet, tear-drop earrings, and a whopping diamond ring. With her blonde hair styled in a low chignon, celebrity hairstylist Glen Coco Oropeza left a few tendrils framing her face.<\/p>\n
