The last thing you’d want to have in a relationship right before a break up is a marriage proposal on the table. But, if sources are correct, that’s exactly what went down prior to Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian<\/a>‘s now-infamous split.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Radar<\/em><\/a>, a source says that while Kardashian felt overwhelmed by the intensity of their whirlwind relationship, Davidson just ramped things up even more. \u201cKim wanted to slow things down and instead Pete proposed,\u201d the source explains.<\/p>\n

“He is devastated. Everyone warned him that he was going to push her away, but he didn\u2019t listen. Remember, this is the same guy that proposed to Ariana Grande\u00a0after just a few weeks. Pete learned nothing from that relationship. He falls hard and he falls fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

This, of course, feels like it would totally be in line with Pete Davidson’s past behavior in relationships \u2014 as the source mentions, he famously proposed to Ariana Grande after mere months of dating. Plus, there are those dedicated tattoos to both Grande and Kardashian on his body \u2014 including one for Kardashian’s kids.<\/p>\n
