Whether you loved the show or hated it, there&#8217;s one thing we can all universally agree on: Lucas Bravo.<\/p>\n<p>The ridiculously good looking French actor, who plays Emily&#8217;s (Lily Collins) love interest in the series, quickly went viral online with many people realizing that he&#8217;s potentially the only reason they couldn&#8217;t switch off the show:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Wait \u2014 I figured out why we can\u2019t stop watching Emily In Paris. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pnODWmxo96\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/pnODWmxo96<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Kathleen Newman-Bremang (@KathleenNB) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KathleenNB\/status\/1313110696264171521?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\">October 5, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Now, just six weeks later, he&#8217;s garnered over 1.3m followers on Instagram, been signed by global talent agency WME, and been confirmed to star in season two of the series.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate seeing more of this face on our screens in the very near future, we compiled a list of things to know about Bravo, which are almost guaranteed to make you fall even more in love with the 32-year-old.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. He&#8217;s a <em>Sex and the City<\/em> fan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I adore Sex and the City, honestly. I watched it so many times over and over,&#8221; Bravo told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glamourmagazine.co.uk\/article\/lucas-bravo-gabriel-emily-in-paris-interview-2020\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Glamour<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0&#8220;I learned so much about things you should or shouldn&#8217;t do \u2014 in bed or elsewhere \u2014 thanks to that show. That&#8217;s why I felt pressure the first time I auditioned for Darren, because he&#8217;s so iconic to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. He auditioned for the role of Gabriel five times\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though we now can&#8217;t picture anyone else in the role, Bravo said he was worried he wouldn&#8217;t get his part on <em>Emily in Paris<\/em>. &#8220;I was added I think a week before it started. For my character, [casting] took quite some time. I auditioned maybe four or five times. I remember I was trying to get over it because the answer wasn\u2019t coming and I didn\u2019t want to overthink it or be disappointed because that happens so much in this line of work,&#8221; he told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whowhatwear.co.uk\/lucas-bravo-interview\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Who What Wear<\/em><\/a>. &#8220;But once we were in the room, we did a couple of scenes with Lily and it suddenly clicked. Two days after that, they called me, and that was it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. He was once a sous chef<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just like his character on the show, Bravo has worked with food in the past. &#8220;I was a sous chef in a restaurant a few years ago,&#8221; he said in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nUqP7y7wEhY\" target=\"_blank\">an interview<\/a> in September. Naturally, he&#8217;s also a model<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bravo is currently signed to modeling agencies Tribe Management and Viva Model Management. In 2017, Chanel tapped him to appear in an ad with Ellie Bamber.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. He loves traveling and being in nature<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bravo&#8217;s Instagram account is full of photos of him traveling the world with friends. He&#8217;s single and while he won&#8217;t date costars, he isn&#8217;t ruling out dating fans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have this rule about costars,&#8221; Bravo told <i>Glamour<\/i>. &#8220;Once you step on set, it&#8217;s a workplace, and I want to keep it professional. I mean, you never know what can happen, but I really try as much as possible to focus on the story we have to tell and the performance and the character. But I never know. And a fan? I don&#8217;t really have fans, so I don&#8217;t know. That is a question I will maybe answer some other time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. He loves a music festival\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Though he doesn&#8217;t have many photos on his Instagram, what he does have is a range of pics from both Burning Man &#8211; which he attended multiple years in a row &#8211; and Coachella. Where did I put my flower crown?<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Just like you, he loved <em>Normal People<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bravo told <em>Glamour<\/em> that he thinks Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal\u2019s characters from Hulu\u2019s\u00a0<em>Normal People <\/em>are the sexiest TV couple. &#8220;I was blown away by their performance and their chemistry, and the sex scenes are pretty good. His dream destination is Patagonia <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bravo told <em>Glamour<\/em>,&#8221; I really enjoy traveling alone and getting very lost, like just to backpack, explore, and see landscapes. There\u2019s a sort of fear when you get deep into that wilderness, and in that particular place you find really good answers about yourself.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. He values communication in relationships\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s the basis of everything,&#8221; he told <em>Glamour<\/em>. &#8220;Don\u2019t be afraid or assume how the other person will take it. I don\u2019t like when there is an elephant in the room and the person chooses to just run away or slam the door or sit in a corner with their baby face on.
