Matt Kennedy \/ Netflix \u00a9 2022<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/venice-film-festival-2022-lineup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venice International Film Festival<\/a> next month, the first full trailer to the explosive biopic <em>Blonde<\/em> has been released by Netflix. I was forced to do a double, if not triple take this morning as <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/ana-de-armas-joey-king-yara-shahidi-uniform-trend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ana de Armas<\/a> perfectly resembled <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/kim-kardashian-responds-damaged-marilyn-monroe-dress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marilyn Monroe<\/a> and her real self embodiment as Norma Jean Mortenson.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Andrew Dominik, the forthcoming film is adapted from the Joyce Carol Oates novel of the same name. Instead of documenting the life of Monroe from life to death \u2014 like many biopic films do \u2014 it is set to &#8220;explore the complicated life&#8221; of the Hollywood icon. The two-minute teaser reveals recogniszble moments from the actress&#8217;\u00a0 career including her pink-fueled diamonds performance.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BLONDE | Official Trailer | Netflix\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aIsFywuZPoQ?start=122&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In a February interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.screendaily.com\/news\/andrew-dominik-hopes-netflixs-marilyn-monroe-biopic-blonde-is-heading-for-out-of-competition-cannes-slot-exclusive\/5167553.article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Screen Daily<\/em><\/a>, Dominik explained, \u201cIt\u2019s a demanding movie. If the audience doesn\u2019t like it, that\u2019s the f**king audience\u2019s problem. It\u2019s not running for public office. It\u2019s an NC-17 movie about Marilyn Monroe, it\u2019s kind of what you want, right?
