If you’re anything like us and happen to be back in an office after working remotely amid the pandemic, the realities of dressing for summer and<\/em> frigid AC temps has probably been an issue you faced getting ready in the mornings, especially during the current heat wave in New York City and Europe. But leave it to actress Katie Holmes and her street style prowess<\/a> to deliver just the sort of outfit inspiration we need.<\/p>\n

Temperatures may have reached 90-degrees in N.Y.C. on Wednesday, but that didn’t stop Holmes from wearing a knit tank dress with matching poncho worn like a shawl as she arrived to Good Morning Americ<\/em>a to promote her new film, Alone Together<\/em><\/a>. She chose a striped tank dress from Chlo\u00e9<\/a> and sported the coordinating blanket topper<\/a> and platform Nama sneakers<\/a> also by the brand as she made her way from the car to the studio. She stuck to the more summery look on-air wearing just the dress (and<\/em> her new nose piercing<\/a> in tact).<\/p>\n

She was on-hand to discuss her new film, which she directed, wrote and stars in. It follows her character\u2019s stay upstate amid the start of the pandemic, where she finds her accommodations double booked by a recently-single man.<\/p>\n
