And she&#8217;s starting her new chapter by reentering the modeling world with a brand-new <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/fendi-nyfw-anniversary-show\/\">campaign for Italian fashion house Fendi<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In September of last year, the runway legend shared her story <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CUJZa40tWXC\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=dc77ecf2-7d20-4193-bb34-bcf816fdd466\" target=\"_blank\">on Instagram<\/a>, revealing why she had remained out of the spotlight for the past five years. &#8220;To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers\u2019 careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zeltiq\u2019s CoolSculpting procedure which did the opposite of what it promised.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While CoolSculpting promises to freeze fat cells in a painless, non-invasive manner, Evangelista suffered a rare side effect known as Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia (PAH) causing her fat cells to accumulate and fatty deposits to multiply rather than shrink. <\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CgNaUEVvkEq\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF;
