Continuing its glorious celebration of 60 years of Spider-Man and its all-new collaboration with streetwear brand Kith<\/a>, Marvel, along with Kith’s creative director Ronnie Fieg<\/a>, invite comic and fashion fans to a special edition pop-up in Spider-Man’s hometown of Queens, New York (which also happens to be Fieg’s hometown, too!).<\/p>\n

Located in an old-school convenience store on the corner of a shopping strip mall in Oakland Gardens, the pop-up not only stocks the limited-edition Marvel x Kith Spider-Man Comic Book but also features a secret room (hint, it’s behind the vending machine), where shoppers can get their Spidey fix. The IYKYK space houses a curated selection of vintage Spider-Man memorabilia, including comic books from the past six decades, action figures, original illustrations, and much more that customers can purchase.<\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/p>\n

The space also showcases the highly anticipated Marvel x Kith Spider-Man collection of apparel from lounge sets, intarsia knit sweaters, hoodies, and tees. Other offerings include fashionable, collectible accessories and lifestyle goods that will have any Marvel fan’s Spidey senses tingling. Fieg created the designs using archival Spider-Man artwork as an homage to the six decades of the Marvel superhero, interpreted through the Kith lens. A standout of the collection is a T-shirt that features all the iconic Spider-Man logos throughout the decades.<\/p>\n

The three-day pop-up experience will be open to the public over the weekend to shop for products or just hang out and enjoy Kith’s legendary soft-serve ice cream. The shop also hosts a bevy of bodega staple sweet treats to enjoy while reading comics and trying on the collection.<\/p>\n

\"Marvel<\/p>\n

The Marvel x Kith Spider-Man Pop-Up will be open Friday, July 15, through Sunday, July 17, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. EST at 221-50 Horace Harding Expy, Oakland Gardens, NY 11364. Though it’s about a one-hour ride from the city (give or take traffic), the pop-up offers an immersive experience<\/a> that makes the trek worth it.<\/p>\n
