Congratulations are in order for ultimate cute celebrity couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner who confirmed the birth of their second child \u2014 a baby girl \u2014 this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement to <\/span>PEOPLE<\/span><\/i><\/a>, a rep stated simply, “Joe and Sophie are happy to announce the arrival of their baby girl.” The newborn’s name and specific birthday weren’t mentioned, but it’s safe to say the little girl is the sensitive water sign, cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The new Jonas baby is the couple\u2019s second child, a little sister to their daughter Willa, who turns 1 this month, and comes only a few months after it was announced that Joe’s brother Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas had welcomed their first baby via surrogate<\/a>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In May, the <\/span>Game of Thrones <\/span><\/i>actress confirmed she and her musician husband were expecting their second child together in an interview with <\/span>Elle UK<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span><\/i>saying raising “the next generation” is what life is about.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s what life is about for me \u2014 raising the next generation,” Turner said at the time. “The greatest thing in life is seeing my daughter go from strength to strength. We’re so excited to be expanding the family. It’s the best blessing ever.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Turner then debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the Met Gala the same month in New York City, wearing an embroidered long-sleeve Louis Vuitton gown and cradling her stomach.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite their immense fame, Turner and Jonas have managed to keep their private life mostly out of the spotlight \u2014 other than, of course, Diplo live streaming their Las Vegas wedding in 2019. Opting to share snippets to the public when they see fit (thankfully this included photos of their lavish official wedding in the South of France a month after Vegas), the couple have been vocal about the privacy of their children, with Turner joining the likes of fellow mum Gigi Hadid to slam the paparazzi for photographing their kids.<\/span><\/p>\n

In May 2019, Turner wrote on her Instagram Stories, “I guess yesterday some paparazzi managed to get a picture of my daughter and I and I just want to say that the reason that I am not posting pictures of my daughter and making sure that we can avoid paparazzi at all costs is because I explicitly do not want those photos out there.”<\/p>\n

“She is my daughter. She did not ask for this life, to be photographed. It’s f**king creepy … grown old men are taking pictures of a baby without their permission.” She added she was “sickened and disgusted” by the photos and pursuit of her daughter and asked for it to stop. “I’m respectfully asking everyone to stop following us around and stop trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially printing them,” she said. “It’s disgusting.
