For <\/span>Valentino\u2019s Haute Couture Fall\/Winter 2022 collection, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli<\/a> called upon the highest echelons of high society, from Hollywood heavyweights, to VIP friends of the brand, and fashion legends to attend the runway show on the historic steps of the Piazza di Spagna. <\/span><\/p>\n

Anne Hathaway<\/a> made a glitzy hot pink appearance while her <\/span>Bride Wars<\/span><\/i> costar Kate Hudson<\/a> contrastingly arrived in a sheer, lacey black ensemble hand-in-hand with her fianc\u00e9, musician Danny Fujikawa.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>WeCrashed<\/span><\/i><\/a> actress sat front row, next to longtime Valentino partner <\/span>Giancarlo Giammetti. Donning the monochromatic shade of Pink PP<\/a> from the house\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2022 collection<\/a> in March, the fully sequined mini dress came equipped with a mock neckline, long sleeves, a ruffle detailing below the bust, and a structured skirt. With her leggy display even further accentuated by her Valentino sky-high platforms, Hathaway carried the brand\u2019s matching small Roman Stud shoulder bag.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With her long, brunette tresses blowing in the wind, Hathaway’s effortless waves and understated, natural glow were paired perfectly with her high-octane, party-ready ensemble.<\/p>\n

Posing alongside fellow Academy Award winner<\/a> and bona fide fashionista, Hathaway and West Side Story<\/em><\/a> actress Ariana DeBose<\/a> were captured in matching hot pink mini dresses and the very same skyscraper heels.\u00a0Sporting a lightened honey-toned bob, DeBose was perched in between the South Korean musician Hwasa and Vogue<\/em> editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.<\/p>\n

On Wintour’s opposite side, sat Don’t Worry Darling<\/em><\/a> star Florence Pugh<\/a>. Adorning a very sheer hot pink tulle confection, Pugh posed next to her mother, Deborah Mackin, on the steps before the show.<\/p>\n

With a frilly, halter neckline, Pugh’s floor-length dress billowed in the wind, revealing her Valentino Garavani Tan-Go platform pink pumps. Carrying a glittering pink Roman Stud shoulder bag, the Academy Award nominee adorned the brand’s signature Roman studs as earrings, peaking through her slicked back blonde lob.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With more among the star-studded guest list, supermodels Naomi Campbell<\/a> and Tina Kunakey came to support the venerable Italian fashion house, along with Under the Banner of Heaven<\/em> star Andrew Garfield, Nat Wolff, fashion it-girl Tommy Dorfman, Riverdale<\/em> heartthrob Charles Melton, and actress Ashley Park.<\/p>\n

Coming straight from Paris, the Emily in Paris<\/em> star<\/a> recently made the rounds at Paris Haute Couture Week with some of her castmates, as she attended Olivier Rousteing’s recent stint at the helm of Jean Paul Gaultier’s latest couture collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Incorporating highly saturated hues, inventive and voluminous silhouettes, and bombastic fabrications, like feathered halos, headdresses, and cascading capes, Piccioli clearly maintained his status as fashion’s greatest showman. Dubbed “The Beginning,” the collection is meant to be “a conversation between the Maison and its natal city,” according to the brand<\/a>, while also existing as a dialogue between Piccioli as creative director, and Valentino Garavani, the founder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last month, the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri told WWD<\/em><\/a>\u00a0the show is bound to be \u201can unprecedented event.\u201d I<\/span>n an effort “to give back” to the city of Rome, the Italian fashion house has promised to help restore the mosaics of the Terme di Caracalla antique baths, where a dinner will be hosted after the
