Making a rare public appearance, actress Keira Knightley stepped out in Paris just in time for Chanel\u2019s Fall\/Winter 2022 runway show amid Haute Couture Week<\/a>. Sitting in the coveted front row alongside A-listers like Marion Cotillard<\/a> and <\/span>Lucy B<\/span>oynton, Knightley attended with her husband of nine years and father of her two children, musician James Righton.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Pirates of the Caribbean<\/span><\/i><\/a> actress opted for a lace and velvet LBD from Chanel’s creative director Virginie Viard. With a dainty bow perched at her sternum, the halter-neckline featured a panel of delicate lace trim. Floating down right above her ankles, Knightley sported Mary-Jane Chanel block heels, along with a black leather Chanel handbag, a pair of black sunnies, and an assemblage of silver rings, wearing her <\/span>brunette bob styled in soft, crimped waves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A friend of the brand since 2007, Knightly has long epitomized the quintessential Chanel woman since taking the reins from Kate Moss<\/a> as the face of the Mademoiselle Coco Chanel fragrance at the mere age of 21. <\/span>From there, the star would go on to appear as the face of the brand\u2019s Rouge Coco lipstick, and then the house\u2019s Coco Crush fine jewelry line.<\/span><\/p>\n

With her style comprising of equal parts effortlessness and elegance, the longtime Chanel ambassador knows exactly how to implement a unique twist on classic French girl dressing. Simplistic and chic, if anyone knows how to nail Chanel\u2019s archetypal style, it\u2019s Keira Knightley.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since Knightley has plenty of experience starring in period pieces and adaptations from Jane Austen\u2019s <\/span>Pride and Prejudice<\/span><\/i>, Leo Tolstoy\u2019s Anna Karenina<\/em>, it makes her the perfect woman for the job.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set to appear in 20th Century Studios’ upcoming Matt Ruskin film, <\/span>Boston Strangler<\/em>, Knightley will star as the real-life reporter Loretta McLaughlin, per <\/span>Deadline.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The first journalist to link the murders to one serial killer, McLaughlin and her colleague Jean Cole worked hard to keep the women of Boston informed, challenging the gender norms of the mid-century. Joined by The Gilded Age<\/em><\/a>‘s Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola, Chris Cooper, and more, the film is expected to be released in
