Taylor Swift<\/a> and Joe Alwyn<\/a> have sparked engagement rumors since January when, according to a source<\/a>, the pair took a three-day trip to Cornwall, England where he popped the question. Chatter on the contested topic went quiet when we didn’t receive a confirmation from the couple nor a glimpse of the ring.<\/p>\n

You’ve got to take any online gossip with a grain of salt (remember when everyone thought The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie were dating<\/a>?!), but Swift and Alwyn are notoriously private so would they tell us even if we had evidence?<\/p>\n

According to a new report from\u00a0The Sun<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>a source has confirmed that they are indeed engaged and that only their “inner circle” know. Swift also only wears her “beautiful ring” in private. \u201cBasically immediate family, and trusted, very old friends,\u201d the insider told the publication. \u201cEveryone has been sworn to secrecy, too.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, only a handful of people know details about the wedding and Taylor hasn\u2019t even told some of her team about the engagement,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them. And if and when they do exchange vows, there most definitely won\u2019t be any Vogue<\/em>, Rolling Stone<\/em> or Hello!<\/em> magazines there. It will be simple and elegant \u2014 like them.\u201d<\/p>\n
