A fusion of fashion, supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has teamed up with her friend, PatBO<\/a> founder and creative director Patricia Bonaldi for a capsule collection<\/a> worthy of a sun-kissed getaway. Interweaving their personal styles throughout the collaboration, Bonaldi was able to blend her penchant for tailored pieces and bright colors with Ambrosio\u2019s signature bohemian flair in earthy tones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Creating a 16-piece assortment, the pair began dreaming up this collaboration after Ambrosio graced the PatBO runway, opening and closing its debut New York Fashion Week presentation. Based on quintessential PatBO styles, the designs feature unexpected twists.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ambrosio suggested they reimagine PatBO\u2019s popular hybrid dress and turn it into a jumpsuit<\/a>, featuring a built-in shapewear bodysuit, while Bonaldi created a hand-drawn print exclusively for the capsule, conjuring an organic and natural aesthetic that’s bold and feminine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was really excited to work on this collection with my friend Patricia. She is such a talented designer, and the collaboration came so naturally,\u201d said Ambrosio in an official release. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBeing from Brazil I have always admired Patricia\u2019s commitment to supporting local artisans and creating opportunities for people in our home country,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Providing another surprising treat, the pair reinvented a PatBO<\/span> favorite and morphed the two-piece short set into two different looks, one ensemble can be found in organic cotton with a jute trim<\/a>, while the other is available with metallic fringe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It was during our time spent together in New York that we dreamt up the collaboration,” Bonaldi said of Ambrosio. “We started the design process right after the spring show! We never lost that initial excitement and momentum.\u201d The designer went on to say, \u201cI think the collection is a harmonious combination of our personal styles and offers something exciting for every woman.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Known for the Brazilian craftsmanship of the brand, Bonaldi\u2019s hand-applied fringe and hand-beaded embellishments honor the artisans of her native country. Incorporating a new recycled fabrication in an earthy green throughout the collection, the selection encompasses statement pieces worthy of the beach and the city, from day to night.<\/span><\/p>\n
