Friday marks the opening of Elvis<\/em><\/a>, the Baz Luhrmann directed biopic that detailed the extremely colorful life of one of music’s most influential figures. While the movie, starring Austin Butler as the king of rock n’ roll, focused on the dynamic between the performer and promoter (Colonel Tom Parker is played by Tom Hanks), our eyes were firmly fixated on Priscilla Presley, as played by Olivia DeJonge<\/a>.<\/p>\n

DeJonge did a stellar job in her portrayal of Elvis’ first and only wife, showcasing the pair’s early relationship, marriage, and short-lived life as the world’s most famous couple.<\/p>\n

DeJonge also served as a reminder of Presley’s hyper-glamorous approach to beauty: giant hair, giant lashes, and inky black liner with a distinctly ’70s flair.<\/p>\n
