Some of the most highly anticipated films of the year have been included in the lineup at the 2022 Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival<\/a>. While Venice is set to take place from August 31 to September 10, the robust roster of award-worthy films will see our favorite A-list movie stars hit the red carpet in promotion for their projects. At the tail end of Venice, the Toronto Festival will pick up on September 8 to September 18, showcasing even more movies, vying to take home a coveted golden statue.<\/p>\n

With Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine and Gemma Chan likely making an appearance in Venice for their psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darlin<\/em>g<\/a>, Julia Roberts and George Clooney’s rom-com Ticket to Paradise<\/em><\/a> is in the running for an Italian premiere, along with Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino’s Bones and All<\/em>. Directing power-couple Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig<\/a> will likely support their film White Noise<\/em> alongside stars Adam Driver, Andr\u00e9 3000, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Don Cheadle, leading the way for four Netflix original films, including\u00a0<\/span>Ana de Armas’ Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde<\/em><\/a>, Alejandro G. I\u00f1\u00e1rritu’s Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, <\/em>and Romain Gavras’ Athena.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Continuing their stronghold, Netflix has its fair share of frontrunners at TIFF as well, with Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain\u2019s The Good Nurse<\/em>, and the star-studded Glass Onion: A Knives Out<\/em> Mystery leading the pack. Jennifer Lawrence will make her return to the big screen since Don’t Look Up<\/em> with Apple TV+’s Causeway<\/em>, showing in Toronto, as well as Viola Davis’ historic, feminist war epic The Woman King<\/em>. If you thought that was all we had for Styles, think again. While Don’t, Worry Darling<\/em> will be appearing in Venice, My Policeman<\/em> will make its rounds in Toronto.<\/p>\n

Following the recent Cannes Film Festival<\/a>, the 2022 Venice Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival will see an onslaught of Oscar hopefuls take to the red carpets.<\/p>\n
