(Photo by Andreas Rentz\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/billie-eilish-perfume\/\">Billie Eilish<\/a> is a pioneer for sustainability, especially on her current tour. The seven-time Grammy award winning artist is hosting a six-day event before her shows, titled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imoverheated.com\" target=\"_blank\">Overheated<\/a>&#8221; (after the song off her new album, <em>Happier than Ever<\/em>)\u00a0over the course of her tour in London at the O2 arena on June 10-12, 16, and 24-25.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish has been promoting slow fashion for some time now. Just recently the singer wore an entirely <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/billie-eilish-2022-met-gala\/\">upcycled Gucci gown<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/sustainable-fashion-met-gala-2022\/\">2022 Met Gala<\/a> and\u00a0said on the red carpet, \u201cWe didn\u2019t have to waste a bunch of stuff. It all already existed. I just wanted to be as eco-friendly as possible.\u201d On the 2021 Met Gala red carpet, she wore an <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/billie-eilish-oscar-de-la-renta-stop-fur\/\">Oscar de la Renta gown<\/a> after persuading the company to stop its production of fur. She also <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/billie-eilish-nike-collab\/\">collaborated with Nike<\/a> to create a line of sneakers made with post consumer recycled materials.<\/p>\n<p>Overheated events are designed to bring musicians, activists, and fashion experts to come together to discuss the state of the planet, how to tackle anxiety around climate change and how to make an impact with your voice. The event will feature guest speakers such as singer Ellie Goulding, and climate activist Tori Tsui, to name a few, and a screening of her new documentary (also titled <em>Overheated<\/em>), which features speakers such as Vivienne Westwood.\u00a0 The documentary is 40 minutes long, created by Eilish and her brother, Finneas.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"OVERHEATED. A Climate Change Documentary With Billie Eilish, Tori Tsui, Sofia Jannok, and more.\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UFPbCjr2PYg?start=11&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, fans will be able to swap out unwanted clothing pieces for merch that has been upcycled with deadstock fabrics hosted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizen-t.com\" target=\"_blank\">Citizen-T<\/a>, a company Eilish worked with for her Coachella merch collection.<\/p>\n<p>Eilish worked closely with her mother, <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/us\/articles\/exclusive-maggie-baird-rcgd-ambassador-2022-oscars\/\">Maggie Baird<\/a>, on organizing the event. Baird is also a proponent of sustainable dressing. At the 2022 Oscars, she was a RCGD Global Ambassador and helped design her sustainably-made gown for the carpet.<\/p>\n<p>Overheated is also in partnership with Baird&#8217;s organization, <a href=\"https:\/\/supportandfeed.org\" target=\"_blank\">Support + Feed <\/a>which focuses on tackling food insecurity and the climate crisis with plant-based food.
