Just over a week after going viral for her virtual appearance<\/a> at Johnny Depp and Amber Heard\u2019s trial,<\/a> Kate Moss has made a splash on her home turf of London, this time for a more celebratory reason: marking 70 years of Queen Elizabeth’s reign. The occasion was being acknowledged in the UK with a Platinum Jubilee long weekend and many official royal events, as well as lot of unofficial ones \u2014 read: house parties \u2014 taking place over the four days.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Sunday afternoon, the final day of the weekend, a carnival-like pageant took place through the streets of London towards Buckingham Palace with huge floats, loud music, and thousands of people lining the sidewalk. Amid the chaos was a slice of iconic British history in the flesh: one Kate Moss dancing and waving atop a party float while wearing a very on-theme vintage Union Jack blazer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding to the brilliance of her patriotic look was the pair of rose-tined glasses she wore and the clips in red, white and blue holding her loosely waved blonde hair back.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahead of the event, Moss was photographed at Claridge\u2019s hotel with her friend, makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury, as well as Bridgerton<\/em> actress Phoebe Dynevor, where you can see her look in full: a silk bias-cut slip dress in black and a pair of red Vivienne Westwood stilettos. <\/span><\/p>\n

She wore layers of her signature boho necklaces, but otherwise the clear focus was her Union Jack blazer.<\/span><\/p>\n

As <\/span>British Vogue<\/span><\/i> notes<\/a>, the piece is even more amazing than you’d think at first look: it’s archival vintage John Galliano, which was originally worn by Moss herself in Paris to debut the designer\u2019s spring 1993 collection, which paid tribute to British fashion history. <\/span><\/p>\n

As for how it made its way into Moss’ wardrobe? Galliano was famous at the time for gifting his models with clothing from the runway as a way to compensate them for their time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also present on the float and looking equally radiant? Moss’ ’90s best friend, fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell.<\/p>\n
