Shortly after actor Chris Noth’s character, Mr. Big, was killed off the Sex and the City<\/i> reboot, And Just Like That,\u00a0<\/i>Noth was accused by two women of sexual assault allegations and was later removed from final episodes filmed of the hit HBO Max series.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a new interview with AJLT<\/em> star and executive producer Sarah Jessica Parker, the actress opened up for the first time about where she stands with her longtime costar.<\/p>\n

When asked during her conversation with <\/span>The Hollywood Reporter<\/span><\/i><\/a> how her reaction was as a producer when the news of the allegations broke, Parker replied, “I don\u2019t even know if I\u2019m ready to talk about it, but I don\u2019t think \u2026 I wasn\u2019t reacting as a producer. I should have worked on this because I\u2019m just \u2026 it\u2019s just \u2026”<\/span><\/p>\n

She was then asked if she’s spoken to Noth since and replied, “No.”<\/p>\n

The Hollywood Reporter<\/span><\/i> was the first to report of the allegations back in <\/span>December<\/span><\/a>. Following the news, a third woman came forward in an article by the Daily Beast<\/a>, <\/em>where she accused Noth of sexually assaulting her at a New York City restaurant in 2010.<\/p>\n

Noth was fired from his role on The Equalizer,<\/i> dropped from his talent agency and his Peloton ad pegged to his scene in AJLT<\/em> was pulled by the cycling company. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the time, he denied the allegations. <\/span>\u201cThe accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could\u2019ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago\u2014no always means no\u2014that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It\u2019s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out,\u201d he said in a statement. \u201cI don\u2019t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When the allegations against Noth first came out, <\/span>AJLTt<\/span><\/i>‘s Parker<\/span>, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristen Davis <\/span>expressed their support<\/span><\/a> for the women who came forward.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it,” each statement read on the actress’ social media accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n

And Just Like That<\/span><\/i> aired its season finale in February. A month later, HBO Max confirmed that the hit show\u2019s reboot <\/span>has been renewed<\/span><\/a> for a second
