Over the past few days, a video<\/a> of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson has been making the rounds on social media after fans deemed the SKIMS founder \u201cbossy\u201d for telling her comedian boyfriend to remove the second<\/em> hat from atop his head (seems like a reasonable request to me) as they were filming BTS content ahead of the Met Gala.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the clip, Kardashian tells Davidson to \u201ctake the double hat off,\u201d to which he replies, \u201cI didn\u2019t know where to put my hat.\u201d Gesturing to an assistant while laughing, Kardashian says, \u201cShe\u2019ll hold it, just in case, because if it works and we want to use this somewhere. Just if I want to post any behind-the-scenes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, you don\u2019t want me to have a double hat? I appreciate that. Thank you,\u201d Davidson responds with a smile, to which his girlfriend says, \u201cI\u2019m just looking out for you.\u201d \u201cNo, it\u2019s cool\u201d Davidson responds while handing the hat over to someone and adding, \u201cThank you, man. This hat caused a lot of trouble.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, anyone who watches the video can see the pair are just having a bit of fun, which, it turns out, is exactly how Davidson views fashion as a whole.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In a new interview with GQ<\/em><\/a> to mark his collaboration with H&M, the SNL<\/em> star opened up about his relationship with clothes and his style identity, revealing his \u201cmotto is just to wear whatever makes you feel good.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s that simple,\u201d he continued. \u201cIf you think want to wear it and you feel good in it, then wear it. When someone would describe my style as ‘Scumbro,’ I’d say, \u201cyou just called me a Scumbro how do you think I feel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy relationship with fashion is easygoing,\u201d Davidson added. \u201cI don\u2019t overthink things, have fun, be cool and comfortable.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This relaxed aesthetic has clearly influenced Kardashian. Though she continues to wear high-fashion looks and a lot of Balenciaga, she’s begun to experiment with more low-key styles and post more candid photos, including one of her wearing sweatpants, which some think may be her boyfriend’s.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
