Brooklyn Beckham \u2013 the 21-year-old son of David<\/a> and Victoria Beckham<\/a> \u2013 \u00a0announced his engagement to model girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, over the weekend. “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,\u201d Beckham wrote on his Instagram. \u201cI am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February, weeks before Europe went into lockdown, GRAZIA\u2019s sister publication ICON<\/a> traveled to Paris to shoot their biannual cover with Beckham. In the interview, he told me of his love for New York City, having lived there as a photography student while attending Parsons University in 2017. Aside from recommending I eat at a pizza restaurant in Brooklyn called Lucali, Beckham talked about his dream of living in the Big Apple again someday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always been in love with New York. Everywhere you go, there\u2019s interesting people, interesting places to take pictures, the food is great \u2013 I\u2019m a very big food guy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I moved to New York, it was amazing. I loved it, it\u2019s where I want to be based when I\u2019m a bit older and I\u2019d like to start a family there,\u201d he says.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peltz was born in Westchester County, New York, and is the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve made me the luckiest girl in the world,\u201d Peltz wrote on an Instagram picture of the couple \u2013 and her diamond ring \u2013 in a lavender field. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift.\u201d<\/p>\n
