Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated their first Mother\u2019s Day as parents by not only sharing the first public image of their little girl, who was born almost four months ago via surrogate, but by opening up about how difficult and scary the first few months of her life were.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the image shared to both of their Instagram accounts, Chopra cradles her daughter, named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who\u2019s wearing an adorable pink outfit with a matching headband, to her chest. Jonas holds one of her hands and stares down at her face, which the couple covered with an emoji to keep her privacy \u2014 something they previously asked the public for upon announcing their daughter\u2019s arrival, and which other celebrities, including Gigi Hadid and Chopra\u2019s sister-in-law Sophie Turner, have spoken out about needing from paparazzi multiple times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced,” the actress wrote in her <\/span>post<\/span><\/a>. “After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home.”<\/span><\/p>\n
