On the Fall\/Winter 2022 runway in March, Loewe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson took surrealism to new heights<\/a> with bizarre proportions and unexpected motifs \u2014 case in point, the balloon. Among the more wearable\u00a0<\/em>pieces from the collection was the balloon bra which has quickly become cult with A-listers bold enough to sport it.<\/p>\n

It should come as no surprise that Emma Corrin<\/a> was the first to go full camp at the Olivier Awards in London last month. She opted for the Loewe mesh slip dress emblazoned with nude balloons and paired with the accompanying bra. \u201cThis one is for the gays!,” stylist Harry Lambert wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This week, fellow actress Gabrielle Union<\/a> was the next to wear the polarizing attire. Prior to her attendance at the Met Gala<\/a> on Monday, Union shared a series of photographs to social media<\/a> as she stepped out in Manhattan for dinner, wearing the Spanish brand’s printed kaftan with the balloon bra layered over the top. She paired the ensemble with a sage green Loewe clutch and black stiletto boots.<\/p>\n

Just one day earlier, the Bring It On\u00a0<\/em>alum was photographed in another Loewe ensemble<\/a>. The look was a refreshed take on the power suit<\/a> with long wide-legged pants \u2014 the hem bunching and dragging along the ground \u2014 with a long line blazer coat and tiny black bra layered underneath.<\/p>\n
