When Blake Lively arrived to the 2022 Met Gala<\/a>, her reversible dress got a lot of the attention (she put a lot<\/em> of thought into her on-theme Atelier Versace look!), but her hubby, actor Ryan Reynolds, also pulled out some sharp style moves that deserve our full attention.<\/p>\n

The husband and wife duo were on-hand to serve as co-chairs of this year’s gala. While Lively paid homage to New York City landmarks<\/a>, Reynolds went timeless and classic with his sleek and dapper tux and accessories.<\/p>\n

He teamed his Ralph Lauren Purple Label peak lapel tuxedo (loved by the designer himself<\/a>) with a timepiece that will stop you in your tracks. He chose OMEGA’s Speedmaster Moon Watch<\/a>, featuring 18-karat Moonshine Gold with a “sun-brushed” green PVD dial and Moonwatch hands.<\/p>\n

It was a fitting choice for such a grand event, especially for his role in greeting attendees alongside other co-chairs including Lively, Regina King, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anna Wintour, Tom Ford<\/a>, and head of Instagram Adam Mosser.<\/p>\n

According to the brand, the Speedmaster Moonwatch was part of all six moon landings and represents the brand’s “pioneering spirit.” The back of the watch features the words, “First Watch Worn on the Moon” engraved in black.<\/p>\n

Moonshine Gold was created exclusively by OMEGA in 2019 as an 18K gold alloy inspired by the shining moonlight in a dark sky. This variation “offers a distinctive paler hue than traditional 18K yellow gold and high resistance to the fading of color and lustre over time,” the brand states<\/a>. “Its unique composition includes silver, copper and palladium for color and
